Platform · 04 · Human governance

AI proposes. Humans decide. Every decision signed.

The governance layer is not a setting. It is the architecture. Every AI-generated document is scored against the embedded doctrine, routed to the right approver, versioned, signed, and logged — and flagged automatically when the regulation underneath it changes.

  • 01 AI is subordinate to leadership.
  • 02 Authority remains human.
  • 03 Accountability remains intact.

The approval pipeline

Five stages. Each one a signed handoff. No output reaches the field without one.

  1. 01

    Draft

AI generates against doctrine, cites regulation at the paragraph, and flags anything it is uncertain about before a human sees it.

  2. 02

    Under review

Routed to the right HSE engineer by document type, facility, or signal-domain focus. Content preview, doctrine alignment score, and citation audit in a single surface.

  3. 03

    Revision requested

Reviewer sends it back with notes. Revision count tracked. The AI proposes a fix; the reviewer accepts, edits, or rejects.

  4. 04

    Approved

Human signature captured. Doctrine Alignment score locked in. The version is immutable from this point forward.

  5. 05

    Published

Released to the field or to the client portal. Appears in search, tailgate meetings, and JHA references with its approval lineage attached.

Four governance pillars

Scoring, re-alignment, audit, and controlled release.

I

Doctrine Alignment scoring

Every generated document is scored against the embedded HSE leadership doctrine before it reaches a reviewer. Pillar-by-pillar breakdown across eleven pillars and five signal domains, gap identification, and specific recommendations — not a pass / fail opaque number.

II

Re-alignment queue

When a regulation changes — eCFR, Federal Register, LDEQ — every affected document is flagged for review with the reason captured. Regenerate, edit, or dismiss. Nothing is rewritten behind your back.

III

Immutable audit trail

Every action on every document, permit, incident, MOC, JHA, and handover — logged, filterable, CSV-exportable. Evidence of process, ready for the regulator, the client, or the courtroom.

IV

Client portal, read-only

Share approved programs and records with clients and regulators through a scoped, token-authenticated portal. DOCX and PDF download with full citation lineage. No surprise exposure of drafts.

The line we will not cross

If a human did not sign it, it did not ship. If the regulation underneath it changes, the document is flagged — not quietly regenerated behind your back.

Governance is the product. The generation is the byproduct.
